Our name De Eetkamer translates to "The Dining Room", the property is shared with an art gallery and library named Oude Leeskamer translating to "Old Reading Room".

De Eetkamer is a small plates restaurant in Stellenbosch, South Africa, serving globally inspired cuisine designed for sharing.

Housed in a beautifully renovated historic stable, De Eetkamer celebrates the joy of gathering around a table. Chef and owner Marco Cardoso creates a seasonal menu of small plates influenced by flavours from around the world, from familiar favourites to unexpected combinations.
